Public Meeting

Garfield County Public Hospital District No.1 will be reviewing facility utilization plans and discussing use of District facilities and the Facility Master Plan at an open public meeting Wednesday January 22, 2003 at 6:00 PM in the Hospital Basement Conference Room.

The purpose of the Facility Master Plan is to develop a strategic approach to use of District Resources to: Improve Patient Care, Efficiency and Financial Stability.

 

Option 1

Consider the consolidation of clinic operations within the hospital facility to improve utilization, limit overhead and improve operational efficiencies.

 

Option 2

Keep the clinic operation separate.  Improve both facilities workflows and process value from the consumers’ perspective to improve facility utilization and operational efficiencies.

 

The commissioners of the District invite community discussion as they consider alternatives for the improvement of services and resources. 

 

A second special meeting will be held the following Monday January 27, 2003 at 6:00 PM for further discussion and possible resolution.
