Garfield County Long Term Care offers care and assistance to individuals requiring help with such daily activities as eating, dressing, bathing, and medical care.  This caring environment offers residents a wide range of services and entertaining activities.  Skilled Nursing care is no longer considered to be the "last stop."  It is not unusual for a physician to recommend a stay in a skilled nursing community during recovery from a stroke, hip fracture, or illness.  Residents of Garfield County Long Term Care often leave the long term care to return to independent living arrangements.
